Spirit, Soul & Body | School of the Prophets Level 2 – Lesson 12

The spirit was designed to commune with God.

The soul—mind, will, and emotions—was designed to express what flows from the spirit.

The body was designed to serve both.

But after the Fall, man became soul-dominated.

Emotions became masters.

Reason became king.

Flesh became ruler.

At salvation, God regenerates the spirit.

But the soul must be renewed.

And the body must be brought under discipline.

Many prophetic errors occur because people mistake emotional impressions for revelation.

Others mistake desires for God's voice.

The mature prophet learns to discern:

"What is spirit?"

"What is soul?"

"What is flesh?"

Because prophetic accuracy flows through a sanctified soul under the government of a regenerated spirit led by the Holy Spirit.
