False Prophetic Flow & Divination: The Dangerous Counterfeit | Ep. 13

In this teaching, you will learn: What divination really is How false prophetic flow operates The difference between prophecy and psychic revelation Warning signs of counterfeit prophetic ministry Why accuracy alone is not proof of God How to protect yourself from deception Key Scriptures: Acts 16:16–18 (Spirit of divination) Deuteronomy 18:10–12 Matthew 7:15–23 Training Focus: Discernment, Purity, Prophetic Integrity If you’ve ever: Wondered if all prophetic voices are truly from God Seen strange manifestations in ministry Been confused by “accurate” but unhealthy prophecy Wanted to grow in spiritual discernment This message will open your eyes.

One of the greatest dangers facing prophetic people is not persecution.

It is deception.

Not every supernatural experience comes from God.

Not every revelation is divine.

Not every accurate word is prophetic.

Scripture repeatedly warns us that there are counterfeits.

Just as there is true worship and false worship...

True wisdom and false wisdom...

True prophets and false prophets...

There is also genuine prophetic flow and counterfeit spiritual flow.

The enemy cannot create.

He counterfeits.

One of the most dangerous assumptions in prophetic ministry is:

"If it's accurate, it must be God."

Accuracy alone is not proof of divine origin.

The slave girl in Acts 16 accurately identified Paul and Silas.

Yet the source was not the Holy Spirit.

Divination seeks information without relationship.

Prophecy flows from relationship with God.

Divination focuses on knowledge.

Prophecy focuses on God's heart.

Divination exalts the messenger.

Prophecy exalts Jesus.

The mature prophet must learn to discern not only what is being said...

But where it is coming from.

The question is not merely:

"Is this information correct?"

The deeper question is:

"What spirit is producing it?"

Because Satan's greatest weapon is not always opposition.

Sometimes it is imitation.

ASSIGNMENT 5

The Jesus Test

Does this make Jesus greater?

Does this produce holiness?

Does this encourage dependence upon God?

Does this align with Scripture?

Write a one-page reflection on what you learn.

MEMORY VERSES

1 John 4:1

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits..."

Acts 16:18

"Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit..."

Matthew 7:16

"You will know them by their fruits."

Memorize and meditate on these verses this week.

FINAL CHALLENGE

Not everything supernatural is spiritual.

Not everything spiritual is holy.

Not everything accurate is prophetic.

The mature prophet does not merely seek revelation.

The mature prophet learns to discern the source.

The question is not:

"Can this reveal information?"

The deeper question is:

"Does this reveal Christ?"

Because genuine prophetic ministry always leads people closer to Jesus.

Counterfeit spirituality always leads people away from Him.

And the safest prophetic people are those who love truth more than experiences.
